After the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, now people of Hathras district are also looking for means to go to Ayodhya. At present, due to lack of direct roadways bus service from Hathras to Ayodhya, Ram devotees are looking for seats in trains. In total four trains running from Hathras and Aligarh railway stations to Ayodhya, Ram devotees are able to get reservation only in the waiting list. Confirmed ticket is not available in any train.
A total of four trains are available to go to Ayodhya from Hathras and Aligarh Junction stations of Delhi-Kanpur railway section of North Central Railway. Currently, waiting reservations are available in these four trains going to Ayodhya. In this, in 13483 Farkha Express running from Hathras Junction, there is a waiting list of 136 in sleeper class, 27 in economy class and 53 in third air-conditioned.
The waiting list of 15558 Amrit Bharat Express from Aligarh Junction is 88 in sleeper class, 94 in sleeper class in Kaifiyat Express, 14 in third AC, six in second AC. 15226 Anand Vihar- Mau Express, which runs two days a week, is running only one day. In this, reservation can be found in RAC list in third and second air conditioned classes. Overall, traveling to Ayodhya by train is currently difficult for the passengers.
